Personality: Shen is a variation of personalities, he has humor when its appropriate and has to be strict other times. He is generally a very serious person when it comes to fighting and diplomacy, He likes to keep things organized and hold meeting with the other Vizards often to keep contact with them all. On top of this otherwise pleasant personality, to those hes dislikes including his foe's, Shen is very stern, critiquing every move they make sometimes, Although this does mean he is also very observant serving him well when it comes to knowing an opponent and making them feel predictable. InformationHistory: During Shen's life as a human, he was born in the 1800, He was a rouge samurai, living for his own morals. He lived in a world where gun's were more popular then the sword. He felt that this was a disgrace, guns were a pathetic means of fighting Shen thought. Swords were outlawed by 1825, when shen was 23, however shen still lived in the wilderness fighting off military that would come his way and continue his life of a sword for hire. He was born into a highly royal family that had a long history in the Edo era. He had developed his own mindset, he often repeated to himself while meditating "Stature of a king, skill of a demon." and thats how he lived his life. He was a kind and loving person most of the time, even a ladies man for some time. This motto to him meant that, he must always be the leader in all that he does, be a role model for all, and in combat, a demon, a monster, a force to be reckoned with through sheer power he defeated major gangs single handedly in the prime of his days.
Shen was hired by a very wealthy and powerful man, Shen never asked what these men did because most of them had evil intentions but he had to find work somehow. This mission was much different then all the rest he had been sent on without fail. This man planned to have Shen assassinated by sending him on a suicide mission. Shen traveled through the forest, wearing only his blood red kimono and tabi, his sword steady by his side. He opened the sliding doors to the house but when he opened it, his eyes grew wide with sudden fear. Before him stood 12 men with loaded muskets. Shen was much more trained and quicker, easily striking down 7 of them before he even got hit, by a lucky shot, one of the muskets hit him in the ankle slowing his movements greatly. Shen fended off till the very last one was left, He fire a shot which grazed his shoulder, then shen made his move stabbing at the mans stomach, unfortunately this man had a new invention attacked to his gun, a Bayonette.
that fateful day, December 18th, Shen had forever been removed from the world as a human, thus ending a major revolution of the local samurai of Osaka, Japan who resided in the famous castle of Osaka. Shen had been out for several hours but woke up in the infirmary of what he later found out to be the Soul Society. He awoke with a sword on the bed next to him, its handle was blood red with a golden cap and golden hand guard which was a normal rectangle shape, the blade however was uncanny, epically because he hadn't seen a metal such as this. The blade of the sword was pure black and it had a strange aura about it, he kept hearing a name in his head "Jigoku...." He heard as it resounded in his train of thought "Jigoku..." He heard the name once more as he lay his head back down, and then finally in a loud roar he heard "JIGOKU!" Once this loud name was called, his mind was no longer black, lost in a space of darkness but in a forest, densely populated by trees, These were no ordinary trees though, the whole forest seemed to be burning down but no matter how long the trees burned and became scorched, the never dissapeared, He rose his eyes up to the sky which seemed to be on fire as well, the clouds a dark Smokey color with highlights as if there was light, although it was the middle of the night.
To Shens left, out of the burning timbers he hears a wolf like growl that spoke in a human voice, it was rough but clearly heard..."Jigoku..." The spirit fire wolf Jigoku jumped between two trees, his spine decorated by flame, He prowled over to Shen. "I am Jigoku, your Zanpakuto, i represent your soul and you interpret mine." Shen stood up, walking over to Jigoku and reverently bowing to the majestic creature as he said, "Jigoku, i am Shen, i feel we will work well together." From that day on, Shen had been placed in the academy to become a successful Shinigami, He excelled at most things graduating top in his class. After he left the academy he join Squad 11. His captain a large strong man, one of the best fighters in all of the soul society, who had endured several injury's and kept fighting in major battles, became Shen role model.
Shen went through the ranks becoming second seat of squad 11, His captain still the role model. A large battle broke out between Shinigami and Espada after harsh words were exchanged and blames were made for things Shen hadn't understood because they were before his time in the soul society. He fought valiantly beside his captain but things became very dangerous and his group was ordered to retreat while the captain remains, sustaining several injury's. The next day, a captain from another squad came to the squad 11 barracks and got Shen to talk to hi min private, He spoke of how his dear captain fought well slaying two Espada, but it was no hope, they were out numbered and he was slain. He brought the message from the captain commander that he is to be appointed the new captain and have a private meeting with him later that day.
Shen went to the head barracks and met with the current captain commander, his reitsu was flaring even out of combat. He was very strong his arms were huge, he was pretty young at the time. He issued Shen his Captains Haori and sent him on his way after giving him a few words of advice and forewarning. Shen knew his fellow squad 11 members well enough to keep them orderly, As time went on he became a strong captain even so that he surpassed even the former captain of squad 11, but Shen felt empty searching for something else. He gave his body to the research bureau to conduct tests on him, the subject wasn't told to Shen for secrecy purposes and they put him under and anesthesia so if her ever would feel pain during this he would be fine. He woke up, stayed in the hospital for a day just for safety and then the next day he went back to his normal life. Little did he know that the Captain of research was a crazy bastard and was trying to create the perfect hollow, he tried to create one from Shen, but all he did was create a monster, much worse then a hollow. It took a month or two to take affect but soon the darkness ensued, taking hold of Shen slowly. He often felt what he thought was acid indigestion but really it was his hollow taking part of his heart, becoming one with him. He was in immense pain and could hardly stand so he ran off into the woods far far away from the soul society, He saw some white liquid dropping from his lip. He thought it was a cut from a tree so he whipped it up it up with his finger. The cut healed instantly and more of this substance continued to flow from him, now coming from every place on his face, He fell over, his Reitsu flaring. He was lucky though that he had gone far enough away from the Soul society not to be noticed.
He had absolutely no control over his Reitsu and he was changing completely, Jigoku called out to him but got no response. He fainted, turning partly into a hollow, His eyes were bright Yellow and his mask looked slightly like a tiger or a feirce animal, he now had sharp claws and teeth. His ribcage seemed to be covered by and exoskeleton ribcage made of hollow material. The next day he awoke, he was normal again, but he didn't know what was wrong with him so he decided to flee to the human world in search for a new home. He was the first of his kind, Vizards he later called them, He found new cloths and a home in the human world where he blended into every day normal life. He found a place to live and made a secret place to train where his reitsu cant be sensed and place so reinforced that he could attempt to train his hollowfication so that he could harness the power, as he found others like him he tough them the way he had don't it himself and formed a small force of Shinigami like him who had become outcasts to both the human world and the Soul society.
Years later, after a huge outbreak fight between Shinigami and Espada, Shen decided to take his group and save the Shinigami's weak asses from them. Of course the captain commander remembered him and soon after he left, the head of research had admitted to his crimes, but only to the Captain commander who kept Vizards secret to the whole shinigami world, but now due to this even Shinigami and Vizards were destined to be intertwined for good. Their society's now clashing, being forced to side with each other for the well being of both parties.

Jigoku is a traditional katana, the hilt is blood red leading up to the hand gaurd which is rectangular and solid gold colored, the blade is foged of a mysterious metal which has no name and had no melting point, which raises questions on how it was forged, its Solid black.

Spirit's Realm: Shen's spirit realm and Jigoku's home is a place of destruction and unrest, it depicts a forest clearing, a circle of trees around you, all the trees and even the heavens appear to be burning.
Shikai Incantation: "Encompass the world with your flame, Jigoku!"
Shikai Abilitie(s)//Appearance: Once Jigoku is in its Shikai form the blade isnt visible anymore, the whole length of the sword is engulfed in flame, these flames are extremely hot and could easily cut through metal just by sheer heat, this also is where Shen can be more versatile, he can manipulate the flames to change the swords shape from a normal Katana to a large more heavy attacking weapon such as a buster blade.
Nenshō : ("Combustion") Shen uses this teqniue to create fire wherever he pleases, He uses his Reitsu as a fire starter and manifests it to make the fire grow so that it can literally burn on nothing if that is his wish.
Honoo nami : ("Flame wave") By merely swinging his sword, Shen can send an arc of fire out of his blade at an enemy, at point blank this can be lethal, as the wave gets farther and farther away it slowly dissipates reducing the damage.
Honoo Kyōtei : ("Flame pact") This is one of Shen's more devastating moves, He uses the image of his own Zanpakuto to create a pack of wolves made of fire, there are 6 in all, they can bite and preform attack like a normal animal can by the solidification of Shen's Reitsu, they can also disperse into tiny embers all over the ground allowing Shen to use this in combo with Nenshō to create a fiery grave that engulfs an area in flame instantaneously.
Rietsu Fumitsukeru : ("Reitsu stomp") Shen uses his vast Rietsu to preform a stop on the ground forming a shock wave of pure Reitsu knocking back all enemy's near him, causes minor damage unless stopped on.
Bankai Name(s): Jigoku no Ikari kami ("God of infernal rage")
Bankai Abilitie(s)//Appearance: Shen's Bankai appears similar to Suzumebachi except its more claw like and goes all the way up to Shen's elbow, each finger comes to a sharp point and its make of tempered steel, impossible to break. Steam can be seen coming from the chinks in the armor plating. Along with this claw, Shen gains shackles on both of his ancles and his right wrist, resembling the shackles on Jigoku's legs
Kanetsu : ("Overheat") Shen's claw glows bright red, this signifies that it is red hot, at normal metals melting point. A single touch from his attack is very painful and can cause extreme burns.
Posuto Kazan no Sensō : ("post-volcanic war") This is merely the beginning, Shen prepares the battle field for the utter destruction he is about to bring. Shen sinks his claw down into the dirt, the heat begins to raise the temperature of everything in the ground within a large radius, after a moment lava can be seen in little patches speckled throught the radius of Post-volcanic war. The ground becomes a volcanic field of destruction and disarray, The point of this technique is to make materials available for manipulation when using certain attacks.
Gō Chippu Mijikai : ("Five tip shot") Shen points all five of the pointy tips of Jigoku at the enemy, Small spheres of fire form at the tips of if and fire out like mini cero's at the enemy, they chase down the target and make contact or are stopped by whatever the opponent may use to stop them.

Upgrades: Shen gain's Increased speed, he has not met one that he cant keep up with once his mask is engaged but he rarely ever even engages it in anything higher then just fighting with his sword because its not needed otherwise. His mask also grants him Incredible strength, his physical appearance doesn't change at all but after being hit with an attack while his mask is on, you will be able to tell the difference in power. His spiritual pressure is also greatly increased, it has been seen before, in the first encounter with his more hollow side, a Vice captain fainting from the sheer force of his spirit pressure.
Hollow Powers: Shen gain's a Solid blood red Cero, its power, unimaginable. He uses a lot of spiritual power in it though because if its girth so its rather tiring to use as a main means of attacking in battle, but rather useful fighting underlings. Shen also gains the ability to use a Hierro, hardening himself more then even his Metal suit can.
Personality Change: Shen becomes an animal, he relentlessly attacks his opponent until his target is eliminated, he doesn't do this because he is out of control but because he can and with this sort of power boost it makes fights very quick.
Secret/Special Ability: Yōgan Maisō Kaishi suru : ("Lava burial initiate") This technique is the first of a two part, devastating finishing blow, only usable in Bankai hollowfication form. The magnitude of the technique makes it very hard to dodge and almost impossible to survive when directly hit. Shen creates a massive pool of lava on the surface of the ground, it steams and boils, even just floating above it, its extremely hot.
Yōgan Maisō Sōgi : ("Lava burial: Funeral") The seconds of two stages to the final and most devastating attack in Shens whole aresenal. This attack is so large that it literally renders Shen useless after its use, meaning this is a last resort, last ditch effort to completely decimate his opponent. Shen manipulates the giant pool of lava forming two huge walls on each side of his opponent, it doesn't matter how high they are in the air because the walls will go as high as Shen mends them to be, These walls then crash down, consuming the opponent and dragging them down into a molten abyss, after this abyss in complete, Shen raises a large block of it into the air, which contains the opponent, The block of lava then solidifies into hard volcanic rock.
